You can also share other websites that you like for us to reference as design inspiration or view our design portfolio here for inspiration. This will also depend on the package you choose based on customization and/or website templates.
  • Will my website go down?
    No, the transition is seamless. Note: if you are not the owner of your domain, make sure your current provider unlocks the domain and is ready to be transferred.

    Yes, we optimize all of our websites for tablets or mobile. ​
  • If I don’t like the design once the website is built, can we start over?
    Our initial meetings and website questionnaire allow us to begin building a website according to the data collected. Each project includes a set amount of time that can be used to make design changes (customization is based on the website package) once the website is ready for the initial review. If you have changes that would require time beyond this, then the Project Manager will discuss with you our time estimate to make those changes.
  • If I don’t like the content that is created for the website, can we start over?
    Once the content has been written by one of our professional copywriters, you will be sent a live copy to submit any changes or corrections! This step gives you the opportunity to make the necessary changes before the content is on your website. If you need additional website content added, it is billed at our hourly rate.
  • How long does it take to build a website?
    Our Agency strives to complete websites within 2-3 weeks. However, each project is different, and some websites might contain customized functionalities, database sets, e-commerce, etc. Website projects can also become easily delayed due to a lack of information, life events, and adjustments.
  • How do I request changes to the website once it is made?
    CIS Agency offers an online customer portal; you can access it here. Our online support portal allows you to chat directly with our team and submit and/or monitor tickets.
  • How many changes can I make to the website when we are building it?
    While there is no set number of changes or edits you can make, there is an allocated feedback time included in each project. You can make as many changes as you would like within this time! If more time is needed to make changes on the website, then the Project Manager will discuss this with you.
  • Can you help me find or re-size photos for my website?
    Yes, we can; if you don't have enough HD-quality images, Wix has thousands of stock images for free. You can purchase stock images from adobe, or for an additional cost, one of our local photographers can personally come to your business and photograph some custom images of your services and staff.   • Can I purchase my own domain?
    Yes, of course. We recommend clients always do this right away. We can also assist you with purchasing and setting things up if you are not technically savvy.
  • Can I view the design and progress during the website design step?
    Yes, we want you to approve the initial design. We will share a temporary demo link to review and provide feedback during the process.
  • How long does it take to start getting traffic and ranking on Google?

  • Can I have access to the website and make changes on my own?
    Yes! If you would like to have access to the back end of the website to make changes on your own, please reach out to our office to request it. Remember, our Agency will not be responsible for any negative effects that result from changes made on the website by a member outside of our Agency.
  • How do I make edits or changes to my website?
    We can give you full contributor access to your website to make changes, but most companies just take advantage of our 30 minutes editing service we provide every month. Our team makes sure that edits are performed under our website standards and checklists.
  • If I write blog posts can CIS post them on the website for me?

  • When do I start paying my monthly fee for the website?
    For a website project to begin, the setup fee must be paid first. Our Agency bills monthly, and your monthly billing cycle would start from the day the website goes live. For example: if your website went live on the 12th of a month, then you would receive a partial invoice from the 12th to the last day of that month, and the following month would be a full invoice.
  • What is included in support?
    Our Support Team is available to you through a 24/7 ticketing system, and our phone from 9 am to 5 pm. We offer a 24-hour turnaround for website editing and a 72-hour turnaround for most graphic design projects. Your website has a 30-minute monthly courtesy as well.
  • How do I promote my new website?
    There are several great ways to promote your website when it launches, and we’re happy to help!
